FAQ

Will Rocket Lift work with my lift?
It's built for ballast and pneumatic float boat lifts, the kind that raise your boat with air. It doesn't work with cable, hydraulic, or vertical lifts. Not sure what you have? Email a photo to info@myrocketlift.com before you pledge.

Do I need a new lift?
No. Rocket Lift retrofits the lift you already own.

What does it need at the dock?
Power at the dock. For remote alerts, a connection: Wi-Fi, cellular, LoRaWAN, or a combination.

How much will Rocket Lift cost?
Final pricing will be announced before the first run ships. Your tier's discount and your full pledge come off that price.

Is my pledge refundable?
Yes, 100%, any time before your unit ships.

When will it ship?
Pioneer: mid to late spring 2027. Voyager: late spring to mid-summer 2027. Pathfinder: late summer to fall 2027. We'll email you if anything changes.

Is there a monthly fee?
The lift controls work with no subscription. Remote monitoring and alerts will be an optional monthly plan, priced before launch.

What happens if the power or internet goes out?
The pedestal has backup batteries, and you can still operate the lift from the dock panel. If the unit loses its connection, the Rocket app tells you, so silence never looks like "all clear."

Who installs it?
Our installation partner, Pickwick Marine Construction, in the Pickwick Lake area. Outside that area, we'll connect you with a certified installer in our dealer network.

What happens to my data?
You own it. We use it to run your system and send your alerts. Our Privacy Policy explains the details.
